Vitacost.com Shopping Essentials Vitacost provided my credit info to shopping essentials Internet

I purchased some stuff from vitacost.com on 10/05/2007. After purchasing the next web page offered a $10 discount so I clicked OK. Then realized it was a monthly charge for useless crap I then closed the web page.

Almost 2 months later I purchased some more stuff from vitacost.com and this time before I stopped my self I clicked yes to the dealmax offer. I read carefully and immediately cancelled that membership. It was the same monthly scam charge for useless crap.

Checking my credit card bill Jan. 2008 I noticed a $14.95 charge from shopping essentials. A call to SE they cancelled my membership and said they would refund the $14.95. Checking back a couple months there are 2 more charges for $14.95. Called SE (Shopplifting Essentials) back and demanded a full refund telling them I did not provide CC info and this had been cancelled. A supervisor was called in. Charles then told me I clicked on the $10 discount coupon agreeing to the terms. When I told him I cancelled this he said I see you cancelled your Dealmax subscription. How the hell did he know about the Dealmax!! Must be the same company. Anyway he said all he can do is refund the Dec. charge. So I hung up and called my CC and they immediately told me all those charges will be refunded. I let them know my CC info was not provided to Shopping Essentials by me and that Vitacost must have done that.

So from now on I will try to get that discovercard shopping program working again that provides temp CC numbers for online purchases. It flaked out about 6 months ago so it was uninstalled.
