Vita's Hair Studio Shoddy Service + Overpriced +Unprofessional= Vitas Hair Studio Lanham, Maryland

 I went to Vita's hair salon to recieve a sew in weave. At the consultation I chose my weave length, texture and style. When my appointment came Vita's assistant ask me to pick out my hair and we could get started on my wash. There were six types of texture hair to chose from, I chose the exact hair I spoke with Vita about in the consultation. When it was all said in done I went to pay and see that my bill was $1200 which was drastically more than what we discuss in the consultation, which was $795. When I ask Vita about price she said I had chose 18' inch, which I had not. I reminded her that we decided in 14' inches at the consult but she kept saying that was the hair I chose which was incorrect. But if I did pick a different length of hair I felt like she should have a) confirmed the hair length with me before doing the sew in and b) notify me the increase in the price. I took out the weave a day later because it looked like low quality hair and it was also causing me pain. This women is a con artist please do not go to her salon chose another place to get your hair done. I pretty much flush $1200 down the drain. Just bad business.

 ta salon is a rip off! Please be aware that Vita will do and say anything to get your money and will not keep her word. On consultation she will tell you one thing and charge arm and leg for her work. After that, she will just keep taking your money. Her price on any on her services are not set and she charge everyone differently. Gabrielle, her funny assistant, is trying her hardest to be polite, but in process she sound so fake and ridiculous. She is very confrontational and rude and will start argument in a secund. Do not go there, unless you have a lot of money to waste. Go to a salon where you know the price and what's included in it!
