Vivid Ink & Toner Outright scam Chatsworth Calif

They claimed they sold their inks at significantly lower prices than the competition and quoted a very attractive price for a "trial order" with a "money back guarantee" on return shipment "if not satisfied".

The package arrived, the price was higher and they were "remanufactured", shipping was $33 which was high,. They bugged me, offering a "discount" for fast payment, was not as careful as I should have been, wasn't thinking it was a scam, and gave them my VISA number.

Did a check after the fact and found they were in "Rip-Off Report" and had uniformaly bad reviews on Yelp.  My bank called day later asking if this was a legit transaction, I told them I'd had given them the number but checked the reviews which indicated it was a scam and they had a return policy and ship them back, the bank said they would reject payment at my request.

Sent the shipment back the same day, it cost $12, which is another indication of their honesty.  Thought that was then end of it, then they called a couple of days later with "thank you for the payment".  

That came as a huge surprise, they actually managed to scam the bank into revoking the cancellation and processing the payment, thought the bank could be trusted but after that, guess not.  Live and learn.  Am a little concerned about the bank retaliating otherwise I'd identify them too.  Won't EVER trust them like this again!!

Told them the items were shipped back, they asked why, told them they had nothing but the worst reviews, were in "Rip-Off report" and reminded him they had a return policy.  It didn't faze the guy one bit, didn't get his name.

Also checked with Cartidge World, who are a reputable business, and they said they have not been able to reverse engineer these Epsom WF2660 cartidges so they don't offer refilled cartidges for this printer.  Asked them if they'd heard of "Vivid Ink & Toner" and they said they hadn't. told them they were selling refilled cartridges and they didn't believe these guys' claims to be able to do this.  

If Cartdidge World can't refill them how would some sleaze bags like Vivid Ink be able to do that, but that square's with the fact that they're a bunch of crooks.  They can't even seem to find any shills to write good, let alone decent reviews.

They did NOT refund anything on the return shipment and my relationship with the bank has soured so completely they aren't about to do anything.  Should get these clowns to send this crap to the bank, if I had the name of the person who put the payment through I'd have it sent it to them.  But then they'd want another payment to do that, which would be par for the course, having screwed the same guy twice.  That would make their day and then some.

So far they have tried to use that VISA card again but am watching very closely, also extremely skeptical about the bank whose claim to fame is about service.  After this, it's obvious to who .

About the only good thing is that the cartridges weren't put in the printer, who knows what would have happened, would out a fairly new printer too.
