About 20 months ago I bought a 51" DLP television from Vivitech via NBCSHOP. This has become the biggest ripoff that I have ever experienced! In less than 14 months of time, I have had to replace the lamp twice. And they aren't cheap!!! If I had ever been informed as to the aggravation about owning this montrosity, I would have steered clear for sure. You can not get any answers from this company and the calls just go in a loop. It takes an Einstein to get through and then their person who may be lucky enough to get live is as dumb as they come in not knowing anything. Try replacing a lamp in your tv and then continuously getting a message on the screen telling you that you need to reset for a new lamp. Well...try to find those instructions in their manual. They aren't there! And then follow up to get those instructions. Good luck ... I haven't found anyone who could tell me! But with the exorbitant cost of replacing the lamps, I am going to just go buy a more reputable television from a long standing company. I hope no one ever buys a d**n thing from this ripoff company again!!! Buyers beware!

Let this be a lesson to you. Stay with the NAME BRAND electronics. Do research on the web before making any major purchases. Forget the hype and go to web sites that deal specifically with the item you wish to purchase and read the reports and reviews listed there. It will save you many headaches and some money, as well.
