VMInnovations Bad Customer Services Lincoln Nebraska

I wanted to share a bad experience with VMInnovations. We purchased an inflatable raft for our kids as a Christmas present back in December, 2014. It sat in the box until this past weekend as it was finally warm enough to use. As I was inflating the raft I noticed a hole that is 1/2" in diameter. Obviously the kids were disappointed, as was I. But I figured that VMInnovations would have no issues with replacing the raft...not so much. I called customer service and the manager told me there was a 30 day mfg warranty that had obviously expired and the best that they could do was for me to pay to send back the raft and they would replace it. I got a quote to ship it back and it was $40, half of what I paid for the raft. While I appreciate the offer to replace it, this is very bad customer service. If I provided this type of service to my customers I wouldn't be in business.
