having worked in a number of Cricos colleges I and EVERYONE in the vet system knows that these dodgy colleges are cheating not only the International students but also the Australian Government and Australian public.  I was fighting my conscience to teach there because there were no resources to teach for the course as well as for the other courses in this dodgy college. They have contact with the Departments so without fulfilling any requirements these colleges are getting licence from CRICOS and NSW VETAB. For Information Technology course they dont have any hardware/network lab, for Printing and Graphics course, they dont have the Printing and Graphics lab with software installed. The students complained in the NSW VETAB about the college but their auditors just came in and ticked  some boxes- frankly the compliance system used by VETAB is such a MASSIVE JOKE. This is a department who's staff literally could not find their way out of brown paper bags!  who only live for power trips on the expense of  RTO, and who have no fairness or basic consistency. I believe their auditors take bribes to tick the right boxes. in my college there was up to 60 students in a classroom where only 30 computers available. and only one teacher in the classroom for Information Technology, Multimedia, Business Management and Accounting Course for 50 different subjects. The colleges count on the fact that most students dont turn up for class, they just pay the fee at the end of the term and go out working to send $AUD money back home- what a rip off! students  are given a pass without attendence. 

The  Department of Immigration and NSW vetab are FULLY AWARE OF THE SITUATION AND ARE THERE FOR PARTY TO THE FRAUD. Thes college is just a visa factory and selling the certificates to the international students and in effect selling Australian Permanent Residency. The Government Departments involved are just turning blind eyes to these dodgy colleges. These dodgy colleges should be closed down and prosecuted for fraud as should VETAB who are party to this scam.
