I wanted to open an online store and I decided to go with Volusion, Inc in effect of Volusion's sales push strategy. The salesman will contact you daily to see of you are interested in signing in.

They offered a SSL certification for $74 which seemed like a good price. Supposedly it takes a couple of days to get the SSL ready. And I was patiently waiting for the SSL to being delivered, hence you cannot run your online store without the SSL Certificate.

After almost two months of waiting and paying $15 per month for hosting the store, which was not existing, my patience culminated and I decided to cancel the service. At this point there did not refund $74 for the SSL Certificate which was never delivered. And apparently their regulation state that if the SSL is not approved within 30 days the order will expire and be considered fulfilled and funds collected for SSL Certificate Orders are non-refundable. But how I supposed to approve the SSL? They failed to let me approve (anything). And definitely it is a sort of trick to keep your money for something which is never done. 

Moreover, two days after I cancelled the service they decided to charge me $15 for the next month of online store hosting, non existing store.

The only contact with this company regarding your money in particular their Billing Department is possible only though email, you will not get live person through the 1-800 number. This is frustrating. You will not be happy with this service, the service is mediocre and it seems like there is a bunch of kids sitting and running the Volusion http://www.volusion.com/history/ . They will make you to pay for their toys. 

In effect I decided to go with (((competitor's name redacted))), great platform, great customer service, and more advanced professional platform for your store.

sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company, ..plus, if you post a competitors name more than likely they will show up on search engines as a Rip-off! - - your comments on this policy are welcome.
