BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!  Of websites that offer Confirm Pregnant European German Shepherds females for sale like http://www.vonbluhengermanshepherds.com/ .  It sounds too good to be true?  It is too good to be true.  I purchased a black and red German Shepherd female from Von Bluhen German Shepherds.  She was described as follows:

CONFIRMED PREGNANT!!!!!  $4990

Gorgeous 2 year old Alka has been confirmed pregnant by ultrasound.  She is a gorgeous red and black female with a fantastic temperament.  Alka has great structure and great pigmentation.  She does very well with other dogs and was raised around children.  She is direct daughter of Mentos vom Osterberger-Land   and  has many champions that make up her pedigree.  Alka was mated with top son of VA Yankee vom Feuermelder "

I'm thinking, nice bloodlines, coming from Europe the breeders should be following the Germans standards of a Shepherd being at least 2 years old and hips x-rayed, and a Schutzhund I title before they are allowed to breed them.  I would get a nice female and I could keep the female puppies and none of them would be kin to my stud dog. All for $4000, great!  I purchased her.

I picked her up at the airport, had to pay a Customs Broker $215 to get her through Customs.  Got her home only to find out that she is very shy.  Laid at my feet when I talked to her.  Ran to the back of the pen and stayed.  I looked at her and thought to myself, she don't look pregnant she was suppose to be around half way.

I called David Casarez the owner and complained.  He said, she will get better.  Days go by and not much improvement.  I took her to my vet and had her x-rayed at 49 days of her pregnacy.  No puppies.  I called David and told him I wanted a refund.  He told me, I can't do that. Your money isn't here. I only make $250 off the deal.  Your money went to the Breeder in Serbia.  They said they would replace her with a good one.  I ask question after question, when will they have this female, what's her temperament like, what's her blood lines.  No answers.  He demanded that I send Alka to him in Texas.  I agreed.  I knew if I sent her back, it would show that I purchase the dog from him and she wasn't pregnant, I had video of her actions, and I returned her.  I spent $4015 on the female, $215 on a Customs Broker, $100 on x-rays to see if she was pregnant, $50 for Health Cert, and $452 on shipping her to San Antonio.  So now I have $4832 and no German Shepherd to show for it.  Now I'm just waiting on my credit card company to do their job on the disputed charges.

For you unexperience breeders, it's like they said in one of the Harry Potter movies - "IF they is something wrong with the b***h, then there is something wrong with the pups".  75% of a litter will take after the Mother's temperament and intelligents.  That's why I didn't want to keep a shy female.  I crossed that bridge years ago and don't want to ge back over it.

In closing to be fare to David, before I purchased the European female through him, I did purchase a very nice adult male directly from him.  He did me right on that purchase.  I really can’t tell if he just doesn’t understand what a German Shepherd is suppose to act like or he just likes the money he makes from selling the site unseen European dogs and looks the other way. There's very limited options once you order one of these dogs.

Please Provide Evidence that I sold you a sick puppy.

To the liar that filed this false report on HeartStar Shepherds.  Please make copies of any documentation that you claim that you have on this problem and post it on your Rip Off Report that you have on us.  Prove to every one reading this that you purchased a puppy from us.   Provide a copy of the airline shipping bill from Atlanta to somewhere in CA.  It would have our name and address on it as the shipper and your name and address as well.  Prove we didn’t honor our ONE YEAR PUPPY HEALTH GUARANTEE that comes with each and every puppy we sell.  You are a liar and a coward.  Prove to us all that I’m wrong and you are right about your statements in the false report that you posted on us. How about just contacting me direct by phone or email and let me know who you are instead of hinding behind this Rip Off Report.  Let us all know who you are.

Von Bluhen German Shepherds Happy Ending

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Sunday, October 09, 2016

Here’s an update and the happy ending to my purchase of a German Shepherd from or should I say through Von Bluhen German Shepherds.  I had two options to complete this deal.  The first option was to dispute the purchase because I paid with a credit card and get back $4017 I paid for the first German Shepherd.  The $900 I paid for import broker, vet bills, and shipping her to Texas wasn’t part of the purchase.  It’s customary to have a dog or puppy examined by a vet and to pay the cost of returning a puppy or dog to the seller at the buyer’s expense.  My second option was to allow them to replace the original German Shepherd with another female.  This is where a lot of patience on my part came in.  Living things take time and can’t be rushed.  We had to agree on another female to replace the first one. This time I waited for a video, pedigree, and a statement of her temperament. Then we had to wait for her to come in to season and be bred.  I received my purchase German Shepherd on Sept 24, 2016 that I had purchased on June 29, 2016.

The underlining worry I think is what most would worry about and that’s all the people you hear of being ripped off by internet dog sells.  The distance just doesn’t allow you to meet the people you are doing business with in person.  To my surprise, David Casarez of Von Bluhen German Shepherds and his European breeder partner came through and delivered as advertised.  I now have a very nice female German Shepherd bred to a very nice male and she is due any day now.  The problem of not getting the right dog the first time did cost me a lot of time, trouble, and money over the original selling price.  Would I purchase another Shepherd from David?  I think “Yes” I would.  He made good on our deal. The replacement female was delivered “Door to Door” and she has a correct German Shepherd temperament.  After communicating with him over the past few months, I think I have gotten to know him and I think I can trust him for another purchase.
