VONS SUPERMARKET IN GRANADA HILLS, CALIFORNIA I purchased an AMEX gift card for $50 that never worked! Replaced 2x & still does not work! They gave me a total of 3 AMEX cards that had ZERO balance! GRANADA HILLS California

On Aug 15th, I purchased as $50 gift card from my local VONS as a present for a friend. I later on find out that the card's balance was zero! How embarassing! I called VONS and they directed me to their corporate VONS office. I called them and they agreed to replace the card and that they have a new card waiting for me at my local VONS where I originally purchased the card. The 1st replacement card also had a zero balance! Are you kidding me? I called again-for the 2nd time, and again, they agreed to replace another card and there would be a new one with a balance in it. I went back to VONS to pick up the card. But for some reason, I decided to call while I was at the store to make sure that this time, there would be a $50 balance on the card. AGAIN, the card did not work! Is this a joke?

I've wasted so much time going back and forth, calling the VONS corporate office to get no where! Am I just out the $50? Write it off? $50 might not seem like a lot of money to some people, but to me it is!

I've asked for them to refund me my money but refused! Why? No refund? Should I just dispute this with my credit card company since I charged it on my MasterCard? Charge it back? I want my money back VONS!!!!!
