I hired this firm to do a small and very simple website for me. The man's name is Keith Smith. I found him on Ebay. He asked me to pay him outside of Ebay to avoid fees that Ebay would charge him. He said he was giving me such an unbelievable deal, that the fees would cut into what little he was charging me. (Mistake #1)  I was giving a 2 week turn around time.

He gave me a song and dance about how great he was, how creative he was, how fast he can turn around my project etc, etc. I paid him $119.00 in July 2009 before any work was started. All I needed was a professional looking home page, as I would be adding to the site myself after it was completed. I sent him ALL the pictures, logos, a copy of my brochure, and all the content.

To make a long story short, time went by. I made contact a few times and got several lame excuses. 1.) He went out of town. 2.) His mother was sick. 3.) He had more important clients than me (imagine that one!) and, the all time best excuse, 4.) His computer was down. I remained patient.

He finally sent me a sneek peek at what was taking him literally months to prepare, there was no content or any real substance, just some graphics. I was excited to see the site at first, but when I saw it, I must say I was very disappointed. Quite frankly, it STUNK!!!! I remained patient.

When I spoke to him, I was very positive and full of compliments. I questioned him about the way he placed my logo and this arrogant jerk went off on me. Basically, he said how DARE I critique his work. He said, he was GREAT, an unbelievable designer, God's gift to website design. Did he forget that this was my site and I was paying for it!!!

I never heard from him again after that. And you guessed it, I have $119.00 less than what I started with and, no website. Voxel Blue, in case you haven't heard, that's called stealing.

I did file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in Ashville, NC. to have my money refunded. Voxel Blue did not respond.

I never filed a complaint EVER in my life. I am taking the time to do this because not only was I ripped Off by this company, but the owner, Keith Smith, was the most uncooperative, aloof, RUDE and untalented person I have ever dealt with in my life.

DO NOT HIRE VoxelBlue.com. There are some reputable web designers on the internet that will deliver a good website for your money. THIS COMPANY IS NOT ONE OF THEM!!!

Buyer Beware!!!!!!
