I have a 2016 VW Tiguan. I kept it in mint condition. I could have had 36k miles on it but returned the 3 year lease with only 30K miles. I had it detailed before I returned it.
During the 3 years, I had to replace 2 tires. The tires were the worst. I brought the car back with a one new tire that was about a year old and the other tire was a week old.
VW charged me for a RR flat tire. I did not bring the car back with a flat tire.
Now, there is absolutely no way to get in touch with VW credit. I have tried calling them many many times over the past few weeks and they have never once answered the phone.
There is also no eamil address, contact info or website on the bill.
I believe this is fraud.

It's a CAR FLEASE!!!

What you seem to be describing is the major PROFIT CENTER in a CAR FLEASE, the exaggerated wear and tear con game. They will charge you for these items BUT send the car to the auction or place it on their used car lot WITHOUT making ANY of the repairs or replacements! This is an absolute fact with a CAR FLEASE! The reason they push a CAR FLEASE is because there's much more profit and more ways to DECEIVE and DEFRAUD a customer. You probably also paid BOGUS front and back end fees as well. Do yourself a favor...don't ever, ever, ever again get into a CAR FLEASE. You have seen what happens. Just remember, in a CAR FLEASE, somebody gets sheared. That somebody is Y-O-U!!!
