Wow, how clueless can a sales based company be? Found a car online at cars.com. called Matt in sales at the dealership. It was on a late on Sunday, 5-30, so I was ok with the Sales ppl sending me photos and calling me the next day. Never heard from them. I was an out of state buyer. Called late Sunday afternoon. Woman said the car was sold. Well, hmmm, she said it was an out of state buyer who called that morning. Hmmm, I called the day BEFORE. Fine, it was sold.

Monday I get an email about 1pm from Matt: Were you interested in the Car?

Well, I answered, yes except never received an email of photos or a call, and when I eventually called again due to no response from your dealership, the operator said it was sold. An email back about an hour later, the car is available. Hmmmmm

Well, is is available or is it sold. I have purchased two cars in the past by flying and buying. this isn't rocket science, unless you don't know what is sold or not sold.

Well, Matt came back and said that it was sold. Over two days after my first call, and they barely knew what they had or had not sold. I called Paul, id'd as the manager of the Used Car Sales, he never actually apologized, just a bunch of jibberish about how they had sent the car to the wholesale lot and started getting calls, and how it was so fast and oh my. Two days later it is still listed on cars.com, autortrader.com and their own website.

Total BS from a bunch of used car salesmen. While that files in "IMAGINE THAT!" I would add that they take it to a new level, since they had nothing to try to sell for what I wanted, and could barley acknowledge they had internal communication problems, much less apologize....

I guess they have such good business they need no more.
