My beloved brother passed away after the lack of care and unethical treatment of Dr. Emory.
He was a patient of his for close to 20 years, paid thousands of dollars to. He would only take CASH by the way.
Dr. Emory prescribed Oxycontin for all of those years due to his severe pain.
He was last seen by Dr. Emory in 2017, while under my care here in California. Went to him
and Dr. Emory, basically cut him off of his reoccurring prescription meds. The lack of these pain meds made
my brother, not function. He could not think straight, would be bedridden and totally depressed. iT WAS AS IF
HE WAS IN A COMA WITHOUT THESE MEDS. EMORY, (NOT A DOCTOR TO ME) BASICALLY DID NOTHING. HE DID NOT CARE
AT ALL AND REALIZED MY BROTHER WAS NOT IN THE SAME FINANCIAL CONDITION, SO HE COULD NOT PAY AS HE DID IN PRIOR YEARS.
My mother and I called him to discuss this with the Doctor on numerous occasions. He did nothing!
My brother was laid to rest on 2/21/18 due to this Doctor's abandonment! We are in the process of filing
a legal claim and have already contacted the medical board of California. PLEASE DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOUR LOVED ONES!
CANNOT EXPAND ANYMORE DUE TO IT BEING LEGALLY SENSITIVE INFORMATION.
