i paid russel wailand of wailands auto trim . or zz tops and interiors or wailands auto trim shop he has or dixie auto trim he switches names alot in winder ga $2.350.00 to replace all of the upholstery in my antique cadillac on 1/13/2011. the total amount was $3.500.00 for that he was supposed to do the seats door panels carpet dashboard trunk sun visors and convertible top .i asked him first to do the front seat so that i could drive the car he said he would have it done in less than a week. it took 6 weeks of me begging him to finish it before he actually finished it keep in mind i was his only custom at the time and he was operating without a business license i recently found out .then 3 weeks later he finished the back seat for the car and another 3 weeks later he finished the door panels and that was the last thing he has done. its been 10 months and my car is still in pieces and the only work he has done looks very amateur and is falling apart. i called him on October the 17th and asked him if he could install the door panels he told me he could not do it for 2 days but he would do it that week. he never showed for 16 days i called him he dodged my calls finally i called him from a different phone and he answered. i asked him why he didn't come do it he lied and said he was sick so i told him i wanted half of my money back so he hung up me and hasn't answered his phone since .this whole experience has been a total nightmare! now im going to have to chase him in court to get my money back!
