This is a Post For the Immediate Reply/Response of ANY & ALL U.S. Attorneys to Commence a CLASS ACTION SUIT, Either Here In Fla. OR Nationwide?
The Lying, Stonewalling, Profiling, Discriminating Practices Of ALL Pharmacies Here In Fla. Has got to STOP! In The Past 6 Months alone...there have been Ridiculous, Unheard Of, Irrational "POLICYS" Put in Place By The National Chain Drug Stores & The Little Local Ones Too That "Prevent" Lawful, Ligitimate, People From Filling There Pain Meds That MOST have been recieving for Years! Without the Lies, Profiling, & Rejection that Has Become Daily and Routine!
There's NO doubt Fla Has Had a Bad Wrap For The Hey Day Pill Mills. But those Days Have disappeared with the State-Wide Data Base Being Used Now.
So Its High Time that A High Profile Lawyer The Likes Of a Roy Black (Miami) Takes A Real Close Look At "The Rights WE DONT HAVE" because Of Blatant, In Your Face DISCRIMINATION!
No Pharmacy Ever complained BEFORE about the "Quantities Being Prescribed (LAWFULLY), The Long time Customer Who Paid/Pays Cash For there Meds! Which ONLY Recently Has Become "Another Policy Issue"...."NO Healthcare Insurance Mr. Smith ???? SORRY. We Can NO Longer Fill Your Meds For You."
WHAT???? Since when Has CASH Ever been a Bad thing? 50 Million Americans Have NO Insurance!!!! I/WE Need to STAND UP & BE HEARD People!!!! "United WE Stand...Divided WE Fall". ENOUGH of seeing People Who could Be My Mother OR Father "CRYING" At a Nat'l Drugstores Counter! Today its Painmedication.....Whats Tomorrow People??? H E L P.....WE Must Start a Class Action Suit!!!! I see the Ads On T.V. For suits On "Vaginal Mesh" Bad Implants, Mesothelioma, Etc.Etc. TAKE Back Our Pride and Dignity!!! The problems you are talking about are due to recently enacted laws or policies from the FDA and the government.
The FDA has limited the number of bottles of medication that pharmacies can have on hand of Oxycotin and other pain killers (I mean the higher stronger forms of these pain killers)
These were enacted as you noted in response to the "pill mills" that Florida is famous for.
If you object you should contact the FDA as well as the state agencies. Publix, CVS, Walgreens, and Walmart (to name just a few) have to abide by these limits and have to figure out a way to get the medications to people that need them so they are limiting them to people with insurance (since out of state people purchasing the drugs usually don't have insurance and pay for them cash).
Check with your doctor to see if he can change your office visits to the beginning of the month (or at the end of the month) so there is a better chance of you getting your medications (since they will probably be out of stock by the middle of the month)
