Walie Car Mart Arnold Wallace Sold a used car that he "quick fixed" to hide major problems with the vehicle. Evansville, Indiana

The next day, window got stuck down, bad motor. I had to pay to fix the window.

The third day I was on the side of the road with a blown head gasket. A new mechanic told me there was evidence of a "quick fix" with some liquid stuff they sell at Auto Zone. We concluded that Mr. Wallace's mechanic did this for Mr. Wallace so he could sell the vehicle, because the day I bought the car it did not appear to have any problems, this "quick fix" was supposed to last a few days just so Wallace could sell the car. Since he made me sign an "As Is" there is nothing I can do about it.

Mr. Wallace is also guilty of "Title Jumping". He forged two signatures right in front of me. The previous owner's name he signed the title over to some guy named "Roy" and then signed Roy's name signing the title over to me. I was skrewed at the DMV when it became my responsibility to pay taxes that were owed on the vehicle that Wallace never paid, but since the title was "title jumped" I was responsible for the fees.

I now have a car that is blown. And I have lost over $2,000.00 over this.

When I would call Wallace for help, I even began crying because I am a single mother who used my savings to buy a car for me and my daughter, I was lightly crying and begging him to help me somehow...he screamed at me on the phone and hung up, twice.

I have also been told that Mr. Wallace owns multiple properties on Riverside and when the tenants have problems, he does not help them properly. I was also told his mechanic has a reputation of not completing work that he claims to have done on vehicles.
