Consumer beware: your building access - where you pay full rent on time and comply with the lease agreed upon - may be haphazardly limited if you lease from these people and with no legal reason, no apology, and for an undetermined amount of time.

1.) These unethical landlords arbitrarily lock tenant's agents out of the building called Wallingford Workspace on evenings and weekends when those agents work the most (in real estate). Without notice they deny access and when nicely asked to correct the problem, make up new rules to the lease that have not existed, requiring background checks of these professional agents who by the law of Washington State passed a background check to be an agent in the first place, and try to charge these agents money for these mysteriously required criminal background checks. When a complaint is filed by the tenant to the Consumer Division of the Wa. St. Atty. General's office for lack of timely response from the landlord whereby tenant offered to submit the paperwork if the landlord wants to pay for the unecessary background checks, in tenant's follow up with the landlord asking again for a reply for quick resolution, landlord merely reminds tenant about how much time they have to respond to tenant complaint - according to the Atty Gen. office request - 21 days. And so continues the passive aggressive behavior of this landlord and in the meantime agent's access is still greatly limited during busy hours.

2.) Further problems caused by landlord, as experienced us and other white collar professionals leasing here:

- Moving the conference room, with no notice to tenants, into a room the size of a walk-in closet that has a terrible stench. Later, no chairs or table are provided for tenant conference room meeting held at the time previously reserved thru landlord as required (six hours notice minimum - another new rule with no written notice to other tenants).

-  Temporarily taking away the only conference room with no notice to the tenants and for an undetermined amount of time. One tenant knocked on the door of the locked conference room in the morning and found a landlord employee there in her pajamas. Was that why the room usage mysteriously disappeared - because she was sleeping there?

-  Repeated failure to unlock the waiting room door, as scheduled in the morning, so clients of tenants are standing outside in the cold and having to call tenants to let them in.

-  Letting the garbage overflow in the bathroom is a normal occurrence.

-  Failing to reply for weeks on end to a tenant's repeated requests, written and verbal, to renew or discuss the lease.

-  Telling one tenant they cannot build out when their neighbor tenant has done so.
