Walt Reeder Sr. at Walt Reeder Entertainment is the biggest scam artist there is. I sent him $13,750 on October 1st 2008 and once he received the money he absolutely vanished. I talked with him very limited over the past month and a half. He frauded me out of the money because Fantasia, which was the scheduled act, was never available for the November 8th and 15th dates. I found this information out by eventually getting in touch with her manager, and he told me he told Walt Reeder specifically that she wasn't available and to not take my money for this date. He did anyway!!!! There was absolutely no way that this date was going to happen because she was in the studio doing an album during this time. Over the last month and a half Walt Reeder is never able to be reached and he instructs the workers to say he is out of town each and every day. Before I sent the money, each time I called he was available. He told me time and time again when he finally calls back to me or to my lawyer, which I had to hire to file a lawsuit against him, to give him until this date and that date. Each date passes and he never sends the deposit back. I later found out that he has been doing this for years, I 've been in contact with another promoter who he frauded out of $87,000 in Texas. He's known nationwide for frauding people out of their money. Long story short, I'm putting this out there to hopefully save someone like me from making this same mistake. DON'T BOOK ANY SHOWS WITH WALT REEDER ENTERTAINMENT!!!!!!!!

I think something should be done about Walt Reeder and his stealing of people's money. He does this to a lot of people but many do not even know about the Rip Off Report to share their experience. I was scammed for 12,000.00 deposit. He is a crook, and yes all the stories are the same, the staff is in on the scams. If any one knows a legal solution to the maddness, I would be willing to listen.

I have gone through the same thing with Walt Reeder,Walt Reeder Entertainment, Walt Reeder the Music Group which ever name he choses to use when I was trying to do a show I was having in Washington, DC and lost $35,000.00 and still to this day have not had all my money refunded. This man is a true scam artist he claims to represent alot of artist but I found out he don't and he should be put away. I got the same excuses you did that his is not in the office, his is out of town or you will get you money refuned on this date I have heard it all. I got a lawyer and received a judgement and he did not live up to the agreement. I have gone to his home only to see him living like a KING off of our money. Please do not do business with this man he is a CROOK!!! He aways says that someone else took the money that's a lie he is just robbing Peter to pay Paul that is it!

It has come to my attention through litigation that an employee of Walt Reeder Entertainment was the culprit of the money theft that I described above. Walt Reeder has worked with me to resolve this matter since the individual worked for his company. The individual is no longer an employee and Walt Reeder is living up to his obligation to pay me back.
