I was anticipating to buy a multi-unit building in TN last Summer, and advertised on Loopnet's Big Board to find motivated sellers. Michael Grandieson contacted me, saying that he can help with financing as well. I travelled to TN, Walter Wunderlich showed me around the property, and we proceeded towards an appraisal of that particular property, as well as another, smaller, residential building in FL. That's where the hard money (lender, Ken Vesely) moved into the picture, and asked me to pay for the appraisal of both properties, which I did. None of the appraisals ever happened. Ken Vesely was reporting that his company (NLD Settlement Corp) was going to return my money, which, as You understand, never happened. I filed a criminal complaint with the State of New Mexico (My state of residence at the time), and would hate to see anybody else to get into my situation, that's why I am here.

I was the listing broker for an apartment complex in which the complaining party was interested. I had nothing to do with her attempt to get an appraisal. I had never heard of Ken Vesely, much less recommend that she attempt to get an appraisal from him. If he ripped her off, it had nothing to do with me. She was introduced to me by Mr. Grandieson and I had no knowledge of his, if he had any, connection to Ken Vesely.
It is unconscionable for this site to arbitrarily post some unfounded complaint by anybody who chooses to do so, without any effort to investigate or validate the accuracy of the complaint. I operate my business with the highest standards of honesty and integrity and have never ripped off anybody. I don't even offer appraisals as one of my services. You allow the individual to sign the complaint as JV, maintaining her/his anonymity, yet you feel free to splash innocent names over the internet, without so much as a phone call to see if the complaint has any basis in fact. Which in this case it does not.
