Wargaming's World of Tanks uses a software patent in its game match maker which keeps players win rates @ 50%, despite how hard you may play as a single player in the game.  The outcomes of the games (win or loss of matches) are adjusted accordingly throught the Match Maker to give you a "low % chance of a win outcome".  Also, RNG (Random Numbers Generator, which controls armor penetration chances can be maniuplated to allow or not allow your shells to penetrate armor.  Tanks are Nerfed (adjusted/changed) at their discretion, even the ones you have paid real money for.

This is "Deceptive, and would be considered Fradulent" when it comes to product laws.  They also will not respond to their EULA agreement when contacted on arbitration matters to settle disuptes in their overseas offices.  If you press the cutomer service, you will received patent copy, and paste responses in reply.  If you try to voice your concerns on their Official Forum site, you will be suspended, RO'd, or even banned for trying to speak out about certain issues related to the game that they deem not to be openly discussed.  Clan members, and staff employees will unfairly insult, harrass, bully, you and commit libel remarks toward you to silence you, and then ban you, to stifle you from talking about the issues surrounding the game they do not want discussed.  The Forum site is run like a "police state."

If you press suppot to hard for balance and fairness too hard the will ask you to contact an attorney, and further derrid you from getting answers to the issues involving why the game operates the way that it does?

There are always update patch issues which keep the game from running smothly Ex: Lag/ping issues, game mechanics issues, many Bot tanks they refuse to resolve the problem on, because they make money from the Bots, there is much player frustration on many issues too numerous to even list.  Request for a more fair skilled base match maker for better matches is always meet with, "no you cannot".  There are frequent losing streaks, and stat issues with the stat system in the game.  Favoritism is show toward most major clans over the vast majority of average pub players.  There are issues about "illegal mods" that are used by players in the game also.

The player community on the forum site is very rude, self absorbed, self centered, offensive in a very Troll like manner, they bully on other members of the community, and are allowed to get away with it, especially if it favors a wargaming position, and therefore infractions are allowed to be compounded upon other players who do not agree.

They adverstise as a free-to-play game, however this is rather deceptive. Eventually soon you learn to get anywhere in the game you will eventually have to spend some money eventually to gain any real progress in the game to compete.  You would be well advised to not trust, or hold your breath on any promises they make about game fixes, or certain changes promised to fix some of these issues.  You maybe disappointed in the long term?

Wots is a fail and failing faster now that they let other countrys on NA server,

AUTHOR: Norman - (United States)

POSTED: Saturday, February 09, 2019

WOTS numbers are so low they now let SA and RU and EU players on the NA server.

Another BAD play by WARGAMING, Driving you NA players away withletting more cheating warpak using players on a clean game that already has players dropping faster then they can keep.

Wargaming is being looked at for money laundering for RU MOBS, They wont be around for much longer.

On the contrary

Contrary to the reponse, of the person who made the claim below my original post:  Playing for free is not what pays for the game. People are deliberately frustrated out of their wallets.  The game is designed to build, milk, frustrated, create long grinds, long losing streaks, nerfed tanks, and alogrithms which create long struggles that put the players into a situtation where as they are forced to retrain crews, up grade tank modules, or even free XP around tanks, to advance upwards, and even feel compelled to purchase "premium money" tanks to generate more game silver in order to keep from going into the game purchase shop, from buying more silver vs. going broke.  What has happened of lately is that older premium tanks have been powered creeped to the point that they can no longer make enough credits to keep up.  Thus, players feel compelled to buy more credit making tanks to keep up in the game.

Recently, an article was published where the CEO of Wargaming, Victor Kislyi, admitted that he basically broke the game over three years ago, over bad business decisions, and rather arrogant decisions for not paying attention to his customer base.

Quote, "“We were a little arrogant, let's say, three years ago,” Kislyi told Polygon. “We were thinking we know everything that our players need without talking intensively to them ourselves. It turned into — I wouldn't call it a disaster, but we hit the wall at some point.”

So, basically, you can see game they were not listening to their player base.  They still don't listen to their player base.  They were listening to certian players like DVK9 who is a shill, wargaming forum fan boy who defends the game.

Whine baby whine

Sadly only a very teeny tiny bit of what the anon reporter says is true.

Match making is an algorhythm, pure simple math. They try and make improvements to balance the game just about every patch.

It is funny how they say you cant do better than 50%....I have close to 80 tanks and most of them are 50% or better.

When you curse, challenge the moderators and post about things like using warpack you are going to get teh boot from the forum.

For those that dont know warpack is the 1 cheat that plagues WoT. Crappy players use it to try and bring their numbers up.

And back to the complainer, he should #1 try running the test server and learning more about his taks for free. #2 he should try to learn how to play the game and finally #3 you dont have to spend 1 penny in the game if you dont want too.

Sure WoT wants you too but it isnt needed.

DVK9 is my ingame nick so ask me more if you want.

Wargaming World of Tanks. Wargaming and It's Unethical Business Model at Work, and Fraud. Minsk Belarus

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Thursday, August 06, 2015

This comment was found on the World of Tanks discussion forum on the NA (North American Sever).  Players discussed the unethical dealings of Wargaming, and their fraudlent ways in their business model of doing business.  One person spoke on the situation of the business of the losing their stock trading symbol on the cyprus stock exchange, and why:  -see below-

"They talk about the same record over and over and change it as they see fit. They mention the RU2 server. Guess what? It's the only server they have that handles World of Tanks in Russia.

They try to pass off this 800,000 as being on "the Russian game Server". Notice how it's singular? That's because they only have one.

What they did was counted all kinds of bots to inflate their numbers so they could puff up their projections to rip off investors with, which is EXACTLY what they did.

Their projections for late 2013 to 2014 were over 400 million.

Of course, they never bothered posting another financial statement after any of this was all put out for obvious reasons: it was all a lie.

You can't claim a record of 800,000 when the record they claim doesn't even exist.

It fooled investors though. They sank more money into it only to find out none of it was true. That's why Cyprus froze stock trading; so nobody else would get ripped off. They then filed papers against Wargaming demanding them to either file their financials or get removed.

Wargaming refused to file, so their stock was kicked out. It is now effectively worthless. So all those private investors got shafted.

Credit where credit is due, it was a good scam. One of the best ones I've seen lately.

And folks it dosen't stop their, the Patent Software used to Rig the Match Maker in Game is not even listed in the EULA agreement the players have to agree to.  The patent software they will not admit to which they went to court to secure, which is used in to control the matches in game.
