Warner Health ripoff deceptive, devious business practices Cinncinnati Ohio

I didn't order from the website for Avlimil. I ordered on their 800 number. 3 times they asked if I wanted to be included in the automatic refill program and three times I stated NO emphatically. Just as the call terminated, I asked for assurance that nothing but the $4.95 would be charged to my account without my permission and was assured that nothing would be.

They charged my account 2 weeks later for $70.00. When I called to complain they told me that I could NOT opt out of the auto refills just by saying so to the original person. I told them they had compromised my bank account and they said they'd issue a partial refund until the product arrived and I could ship it back. They never did. They stated that once it was received, I'd receive the refund within 3-5 business days. I was smart enough to pay $2.30 to send it back to them by USPS tracked mail.

They received the package on 2/23. On 3/2, when no refund had been issued, I called. They stated they had "checked" it in on 3/1 and authorized the credit process again. I asked what exactly was it doing sitting around for 7 business days with no activity. Well, she said,they had a backlog (I just bet they do!). Then I asked when I'd get my money back and she said 7-14 business days! She could give me no plausible explanation for the delay in the refund process or in the delay where the package was in their possession for 7 business days before they even made any attempt to begin the refund process.

This company is devious, deceptive and dishonest. Consumers, be aware that ALL those glitzy "free sample" commerials on TV are this very same company.
