Nov. 6-2003 ordered sample of Avlimil for shipping cost of $4.50. Received sample, put it in a drawer, advertised to be helpful when taken, when needed! 12-30-03 Checked my BofA checking account and saw a debit for $30.11, the next day it turned into $35.00.
My friend Michelle also had the same debit from her account as well. We BOTH called, her yesterday and myself today 12-03-03. Michelle and I discussed it by computer earlier and both found the employee at Avlimil Website number rude, discourteous, and FIRM with the information that when we ordered the free sample for the shipping charge it meant we also agreed to be clients and start receiving additional shipments 22 days later and then 30 days thereafter using our credit card information they got from us under the PRETENSE of shipping our new 30 day trial supply to try!
I got Erica @ Avlimil and she said there is "NO" way to get a refund, returning the order that is scheduled to arrive will "NOT" be accepted by their policy and I have already been billed. Shiesty business practice at best and I "will" go further to get help with this issue. There is David C. get up off your butts and DO something to stop these unauthorized charges?

True, there are tons of complaints about Avlimil, especially on this website. But why is everyone sitting here complaining and whining about it? Why not get up off your butts and DO something to stop these unauthorized charges? Simply call your bank, credit card company, whatever, and put a stop payment on all future transactions from this company. It is simple to do and usually free. Let Avlimil pay the stop payment fees they will receive when they try to steal future sums of money from your account. Shove it up their @$$!!!
Meanwhile, my advice to everyone out there .... next time you see an advertisement for something "free," don't call to get the freebie just because it is free. Do a little research first. Any company that requires a credit card number for the "free" item should send up a red flag. Ask if you can mail them a check or money order for the so-called shipping charges. If they say no, that should be another red flag and you should not proceed with the transaction.
Remember the old adage ... THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A FREE LUNCH!!!
