I received a second letter from Warrant Enforcement Division, the first one I received, I panicked and thought my husband had some how forgotten to pay a ticket. Then when I asked him he said he paid the ticket years ago. I had to go through a lot of files, but I found the receipt. I called and spoke to a very rude girl who kept telling me he owed the money and if I didn't pay immediately that my husband would be arrested. I kept trying to tell her I had proof of payment and I could fax it to her. She just kept trying to get me to pay. I ended up hanging up on her in tears. My husband, thank God, looked up the address and name Larry Brown and saw that they were using scare tactics to try to get people to pay money they didn't owe. I just saw where Marcos Nieto, CEO of Warrant Enforcement Division signed a federal injunction on 12-2-2015 to stop his scare tactics! But here I am with a letter dated February 10, 2016 that says "Final Notice Prior To Arrest". Seriously? Did Mr. Nieto not just sign court papers swearing he was not going to use these illegal tactics? Judge Godley needs to throw this man in a Federal Prison!

Update Civil Action - Report any claims to FTC in Dallas

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Friday, February 19, 2016

If anyone receives a letter threatening to issue a warrant for arrest or to cancel your DL call the FTC at 877-382-4357 and report these scumbags! Mr. Nieto just came out of a Civil Action stating he would no longer use these illegal tactics. Do not pay him! Pay the court you owe, if you owe them at all! The FTC says if they continue receiving complaints about him, they will take him back to court and he'll receive stiffer penalties. I'd like to see him in a Federal Prison!
