Washington Auto Wholesale Horrible used car lot! Eugene Oregon

A couple months ago my husband and I decided it was time to upgrade our family to a new car. We decided on a particular one and went in search of it. After a month we came across a good deal at Washington Auto Wholesale in Eugene Oregon. We don't live locally so we drove 2 hours to look at it (we had aranged financing ahead of time incase it was the one).

When we got there we waited for the guy to finish with a customer and introduced ourselves as he was expecting us. He was nice enough until after we came back from the test drive discovering a few things we had asked about the car over the phone we not truthfully reviled. We thought this should reflect in the price and he refused to ask the owner about our price. He just said the owner would tell us to go right back home. He became very rude and we had enough. The guy should at the very least ask the owner. So we left. He thought it was a tactic.

We called and told him to ask the owner a while later and wouldn't take no for an answer. Of course after we FINALLY got him to ask, the owner agreed on our terms so we went back to sign papers. We asked about maintenance and he said it was all done by their mechanic. He claimed that all the fluids were changed and the car had all the tests ensuring it was running soundly. We kept asking for records and he would change the subject. We actually forgot about them and leave before getting them.

Turns out the maintenance was never done. We were stranded when we went on a weekend trip to the coast due to a problem no mechanic could diagnose. We got it running and it made it home, but we changed the oil on the way which was a black slim. They NEVER changed the oil like they stated. We got it to our mechanic and it turned out to be a clogged fuel injector and caused one of the cylinders to malfunction.

We had him do a complete service and he found several small problems that would have been fixed before we bought it if they did a service. $200 later we have a nice running vehicle. This small dealer may seem like they have good deals, but of course they are lairs. I would have insisted that they be responsible for the work that had to be done but we live 2 hours away and I cannot stand the thought of calling and being treated so rudely again. This guy was way out of line.

I would not recommend anyone buy from these guys as they try to cover up any problems and are very dishonest. I will not be recommending them unless someone wants to pay extra to make sure it is soundly running. I was very disappointed when he sent us the registration which only has my name and not my husbands and a wrong zip code. GIVE ME A BREAK. These guys suck!!!!
