I have been a customer with Washington Mutual for less than 6 months. In June I had written a check in the amount of $1250.00 and the balance at the time $1110.00 check was returned There was a $100.00 overdraft protection which would have been a total $1210.00.

The same check was submitted 2 months later and I was not aware the individual still had possession of this check otherwise I would have placed a stop payment. The individual was compensated with another check for the same amountless than 30.

Two months later the individual submitted the check for payment in which the balance at the time was only $971.24 and with the $100.00 overdraft it would make it $1071.24.Someone inside the branch increased the limit $200.00 more making it a $300.00 overdraft protection on the same day the check was presented for payment.

Washington Mutual has never notified me of this change or has giving me a valid reason as to why they increased it by $200.00. I have tried to dispute the transaction. However every representative has been rude and said it was nothing that they can or will do about it and has falsely documented the accounts as to where there are no complaints stating my dispute.

I spoke with two managers at the Craig/ Rainbow location the first one refused to give me her name her statment to me was that they could what they want when they want.Roselle Garcia was spokent to on a Saturday and seemed to be very pleasant until I called to see if she was going to be there so that she can fax the paperwork that she had given. Her attitude over the phone was very unpleasant and she said I need to deal with the individual.

None of this seems to make sense to me. I dont understand why there was an increase with a lessor balance verses the higher balance. Each account is in a negative because of Washington Negligence. I am trying to avoid legal representation it seems as though that is going to be my next step to prosecute and have all records subpoenaed. It was never my intent for either check to be returned. They have made it impossible for me to make it from day to day.
