I have been seeing the Waste Management BAGSTER television ads for several years now and thought it seemed like a good idea. When the time came to remove an old swing set and other household items, we decided to try the BAGSTER service by Waste Management. Upon entering our local LOWES Home Improvement store we quickly located to Point-Of-Sale display and picked up a package containing the cloth dumpster bag. At no point did my wife or myself see anything that indicated that there would be an additional fee beyond the cost of the bag. Nothing mentioned on the P-O-S display or on the frequent television ads! We positioned the bag as instructed and proceeded to fill it up. Upon entering our information on the Waste Management website to have the bag removed, we found that there is an additional hidden fee of $120.00. I consider this to be nothing less than deceptive business practices by this comapny and ultimately any company that sells this bag at their locations! Upon contacting customer service, the only reply they would give is that the terms are clearly stated on the package. This is incorrect. Waste Management is a nationwide and very successful company, why do they need to rip customers off in this manner???
