Watch Solution Sold defective band and never responded Unknown, maybe overseas Internet

I, stupidly, received an ad for watches and watch bands, etc. for what looked to be a legitimate site. The phone number was for a reasonably local number. I ordered a replacement watch band for my Panerai Daylight. I was told:

"We are again taking orders now though the site. The band your looking for is in the link above. This band is of great quality and craftsmanship. You will be pleased with it. Dirk"

The band 'worked' for about 3+ months then malfunctioned and wouldn't stay closed. When I tried to contact the original "Mike" via his e-mail address of "watchsolution2011@gmail.com" it was returned as undeliverable. Also, the web address "disappeared" also.

I was taken for about $90+ including shipping.  In doing some more "searching/analysis" now, and they just disappeared.

This occurred in 2011 and in doing a current search, I see that there have been a lot of complaints.
