We purchased an Avantapure 49 water treatment system June 27, 2013 for $3,605.00. It was installed and we began use right away. We were informed that we would have soft water, no more etched glasses and were given a list of "50 reasons our customers love" the AvantaPure Treatment Systems. We also purchased a new water heater from this company at the same approximate time. We restocked our drinking glassed as ours were etched and I looked forward to clear, sparkling glasses. Within 6 months, the new glasses were badly etched.

We have had the unit serviced 9 (nine) times for odor and/or hard water. They have changed the anode rod and added KDF to the system. We are not willing to pay for calls which do not correct the problem-- 

We finally purchased a well-recommended hard water test kit of our own and find that our water is still hard.

This product is useless and worthless.
