We moved into this place during the spring. We totally bought into what the leasing agent told us, that the club house would be ready, our garage would be ready, that the apartments were built with the utmost care and quality.

By the 2nd week there, we wanted out. Noise was a huge issue: trains that go by at 4am honking it's horn, the squad cars on the weekends, car alarms, constructions on the weekends/holidays. They refused to let us out of our lease, finally after a week of emails (no one was ever at the leasing office and phone messages were never returned), they finally said we can leave, only if we paid them 2 months worth of rent, plus 1 extra month at the market rate ($100 more). That was RIDICULOUS!!

Our A/C didn't work during a hot weekend, finally they came to fix it, took 2 days, on top of that, it rattles so hard that we think it's going to come out of the bathroom ceiling.

The leasing people let themselves in and out of our apartment without prior consent to drop off letters and memos. Privacy was completely OUT! How can a leasing company, let themselves in and out of your home without notifying you??

How can they charge you market rent when it's an arbitrary number conjured by the builder?

We felt like we were FORCED to live in an environment that didnt even hold up to their standards unless we shelled out $3000. The leasing office over promised and definitely under delivered. All they can say is that it's corporate, and it's a sh*tty business they're in. That it's too bad that were renters and not homeowners. That they can do whatever they want b/c they're Corporate America.

We finally moved out. The leasing agent gave us attitude for leaving. Like we killed his family or something. To top it off, our water bill that normally is $25-$30 went up to $110. They are unresponsive to our questions about our final walk through or why our water bill is so high and late (this is for May useage)

There's a few other residents that have told us they're getting the run around as well. I cannot believe the terrible customer service and lack of accountability!!
