Warning: some of you might consider this slander, However I feel it's an apology letter... As many of you are aware a short while ago I worked for a jewish owned and operated company - Watermatic. I contacted many of you back then as fellow colleagues with the intention of making a living by offering you Watermatic's product for as cheap as possible, and asking you to refer me to your constituents as potential future clients and that for every deal that I would close with a referal of yours I would give your respective organization of your choice a donation. The intention back then was to sell Watermatic to you... I took the job at Watermatic because I was told that they would give me a draw (a $5000 loan) and as I would close deals I would be able to pay back the draw. I also took the job because I was told that I would get leads of potential buyers of the product (Water coolers). Shortly after taking the job I decided that I would need to leave Watermatc because the Draw (loan) never materialized (It was used just to "draw" me to work for the company :) - i guess) And the leads that were promised were never given to me by the company, making it practically impossible to work there as it is an incredibly hard product to sell.

When I left I was notified that I would lose all the deals that I was working on, all my clients. I agreed EXCEPT for one client. This client had the product (2 water coolers) in their office. They were testing out the cooler using a free trial of the product. I told Watermatic that this client of mine will not take the coolers if I (I'm leaving my name out but i am not hiding, you can contact me if you wish) don't get the commissions from these 2 coolers. So Watermatic agreed that the commission would go to me. And so the client signed the agreement and faxed it over to Watermatc, believing that the commission would go to me. (Important note: If Watermatic would have said that ME would not be able to receive the commission, my client would have called Watermatc and said "please pick up the coolers, we appreciate the free trial, but we would not like to switch to your company"). meaning to say if I were not in the picture Watermatic would of never gotten these 2 deals.... Anyway to make a long story short. (If you need more details please feel free to contact me) the commission was supposedly going to be more than 500 dollars, it then became 500, then 250 then ..............ZERO! Wow! I would like to protect fellow friends and their familes ...

I urge you, don't work for this company, and only if you need to deal with this company should you deal with these untrustworthy people. There is a saying that "all press, even bad press, is good press", well I say so be it, it's not my department if this causes a great boost to these frauds then that is the justice system that is runned by God and is totally in His hands, all I could say is I feel compelled to undo the attempt to make a good name for this company in the past and to now share a real event that a Jewish company did to a fellow Jew.... Thanks for listening Wish you and your families a Happy Days and Good News! And I hope all your Endevours are fun for you as it is for your loved ones! Im sorry if I have offended anyone personally, this was not my intention; this is nothing personal, but business. But I was affected personally (I am a person). And some Person is responsible there at Watermatic (namely (M.C., and M.C. and R.M.) to make decisions on paying or disgustingly the opposite - stealing. --- When you work for a company you want to be able to go around and proudly tell people with pride that you work for a classy place. Now imagine you work for a company of greed and you still go around selling for them hoping to make a living and then after going around and giving the company namely here watermatic a good name and then they steal $500 from you (me)?! You have right to be dumbfounded as I am.... However At my new place of work I am proud to say its different for the better. Here the company has a great reputation and feedback, its all about customers and as an employee you are a person too so you appreciate their dedicated sincere and honest approach. This is not the case at Watermatic - at watermatic it's money hungry short term thinking people - stay away

Expecting Wonderful Customer Service, Based on this Rebuttal

AUTHOR: Elizabeth Ely - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, September 10, 2014

Hi David Bailey,

I just read your Rebuttal of the complaint posted here by a former employee, and I must report that I'm pleased to know that you are a reputable business.  Because I wouldn't have even bumped into this review had I not just had a really mortifying experience calling the "technical support" number listed on your monthly bill.  It turns out, the number belongs to a hotline for potential class action plaintiffs in a lawsuit against a blood thinner.  (Advertised on channel 11, no doubt, and the woman I spoke to was kind of creepy and Stepford-y.)

So I decided to do a Google search.  Wouldn't you?

I found your number on your Web site, and unfortunately it's only for SALES.  I left my name and number, with no details.  Short and sweet.  I wonder if anyone will call me back, and I will certainly report my experience here.

I have been a customer since late 2011 or early 2012, paying monthly.  Now I get to see where my money goes.  Is it a guarantee of service, or is it a fraud?

You must admit that calling a "technical support" number and getting someone else is pretty wild, don't you think?  And having no customer service number on your Web site is pretty suspicious, too.

Strange coincidence #1: Somebody in New York posted a serious complaint against Watermatic on Yelp this very day.  This very day!  I responded to them privately, so that we can share our ongoing experience with trying to remedy this situation.  Maybe it's just a slight misunderstanding.  I'll pass on your concern to them, if you ask.

Strange coincidence #2: The d**n Wellsys thing started vibrating a few minutes ago -- but again, that might be just something going on in my building, across the kitchen wall.

I can assure you that, if I get what I need, I will report my experience to these consumer review sites, because your company may be getting a very undeserved bad reputation.

If I don't get what I need, I can equally assure you that I don't hesitate to use the legal system and especially the local New York City Consumers Hotline, and I'm persistent as hell.  Attorneys' fees, things like that.  Supreme Court, Kings County.  (NOT that stupid joke of a "small claims court" you've probably already experienced; I wouldn't put you through that kind of an insult.)

I used my real name.  I'm hoping you did, too.

Oh, and nice touch there, leaving an extension number.  I don't remember being given an option to enter an extension number when I called.

Cordially,

Beth :-)

very disapointed customer

AUTHOR: The customer that purchsed the 2 co - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 07, 2012

I am so glad to have seen this report.

i am with the company that purchased the two coolers and only have done so because i was working with the sales rep i was working with and yes he has done all the leg work which includes coming to my office three times to sell the product etc while the new rep has done nothibg except send the contract over (and change the deal we have agreed upon with the sales rep) so the new rep has done nothing or rather nothing but harm.

After having the coolers for a very long time i must inform everyone that it has been nothing but trouble dealing with this lousy company. Anytime we call for service or whatever it may be we are met with unprofessional staff who are rude and lie to you.

If and when you do get through to a live person you are told you will be getting serviced by the end of the week which is never the case. when calling back to file a complaint about the person you just spoke to you get transferred around to voice mail boxes.

Three weeks later and after calling 5 days in a row trying to talk to someone who can give you real information on when you are getting serviced and not just transfer you to Voice mail i still need to threat that if a service person does not come the next day they can pickup the coolers outside my office. I am than  told they cant make it and i will need to wait a bit longer and someone will call me back with the date and time (HA HA NEVER EVER GET A CALL BACK).

In short they promise to offer free service but they just cause aggravation and the only way to actually get them to come service the coolers is by telling them it has been disconnected and is waiting to be picked up at which time they finaly arrive the next day.

Stay away from this company at all cost.
Please note i have not lost any money or commission and feel i must write  because their service is the worst one can imagine.

can't wait for my contract to end so i can go elsewhere where customer service means something.

The other side...

Dear Levi Bachman,

You mention in your complaint more than once that you are available to be contacted, yet you dont leave any information to do so, well considering we only had one complaint by a former salesperson about a commission after leaving our company, it was kind of easy to figure out where this complaint came from.

With that said, after reading your complaint I felt the need to respond, not so much to clear our company name, cause if you read your complaint carefully it doesnt have much substance to damage our name, but because ignorance really frustrates me.

Lets start with the 1st "real" complaint; you took the job at watermatic cause you were told that you would be given a 5k loan, imagine that! you were offered a loan of $5,000.00 once you started selling and built a pipeline, which, unfortunately you never were able to do, besides the fact that these "loans" dont exist with the company unless an individual here was to make this arrangement personally (which has happened before as a good deed) but theres a famous saying that fits perfectly in this situation:

 "NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED"

"When I left I was notified that I would lose all the deals that I was working on, all my clients. I agreed EXCEPT for one client."

 Lets clear something up here, you only had one (1), Uno, potential client, and if you re-read your complaint, they werent a "client" as of yet, they were still considered a "prospect" (if you need a definition of each, feel free to look them up at dictionary.com) as you mentioned, they were trying the unit when you decided to leave the company. Company policy; if you leave Watermatic and a client (paying customer, not someone that you gave a unit to for free to try) calls to purchase another unit, the sale will be reallocated to another salesperson, I am not shy to let everyone know this policy. BUT, in this case an exception was made, after this prospect was reallocated to a new sales person, and the new salesperson did 90% of the work to CLOSE this deal, the salesperson was willing to split the commissions with you 50% / 50% which I may add was EXTREMELY generous of him and by no means was he required to do so, but of course, just like the good deed of the "loan" that never transpired, you were not happy with that, you wanted ALLLL the commissions, all the commissions on a deal that according to company policy, you had no right to even $1.00.. but once again;

 "NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED"

I hope my response helps clarify this situation, but more importantly helps you realize  when someone is trying to do a good deed, dont push them away, if you live life expecting everything and believing that the world owes you, you will be spending your days writing complaints like this.

Be well and best regards,

 David Bailey
