I did 3 weeks of work for Wayne in December and he stiffed me, 3 days before Christmas. I lost a couple thousand of dollars paying my team, renting equipment, paying for supplies for his clients and paying for the ferry for my team everyday. Wayne is a horrible person who builds his business by taking advantage of unknowing laborers and building suppliers. You can sue him and win, but he will never pay.
In my opinion, Wayne Lambert is a crook and should be barred from the industry as a general contractor. He has over $500k in unpaid judgments to subcontractors, building supply companies and the IRS. Attached to this complaint are copies of Wayne's unpaid judgements, obtained from the Brunswick County Courthouse in North Carolina, a recent mugshot (felony charge for passing a worthless check) and other criminal charges.
I wouldn't hire Wayne to build me a dog house!
