wc savers/shoppers advantage I am responding to the gentleman who stated he had a $29.95 bill from WCSavers. I bought a Tommy Copper Arm sleeve using an 800 number on TV with Brett Favre being in the advertisement.

I completed the transaction online and I thought that was it.  I allowed them to charge 1 dollar for me to belong to shoppers advantage for a $55.00 American Express Gift card and there was no obligation to buy and I could cancel at anytime.  I never received the card and I called to cancel and they said they would resend the gift card and give me 30 days extension free until March 18, 2015.  I still hadn't received the card and I noticed a debit for $29.99 out of my account from WC Savers.  When I called to ask who took money out of my account without asking they asked if I purchased something online recently I said no and said I did it on a TV commercial and it was shoppers advantage and they said that's it.  I said I didn't authorize anybody to draft my account and Tyler who answered the call said that he would refund me and gave me a confirmation # I want to see if they will in fact send me the AE gift card but I doubt it.

Beware! I don't know how they could authorize some other company to debit my account but they did.
