Wcspay.com/allstar fraudulent credit card charges Not Sure Internet

A charge from this company appeared on a statement received from a credit card that had been paid off for over 2 years. I didn't even have the card any longer, I cut it up 2 years ago.
I am not sure how a fraudulent company like "wcspay" could have got a credit card number that has not been active in so long. It has taken a lot of research on my end and now my credit card company is doing an invetigation.
Someone needs to shut this company down. The clipped me for $219.98. The charge was posted in May 2007.

To addd insult to injury , since the card was paid off over 2 years ago, I no longer received statements and I have moved since then. Therefore the credit card company did not try and reach me until the account was over 5 months past due, therefore affecting my good credit score. I hope once the investigation is over that the credit card company will make the necessary postings to clear up any derroitory remarks resulting from this ordeal.
