We Haul movers Terrible packing by negligent movers caused hundreds in damages Cary North Carolina

Terrible experience with We Haul Movers, and the owner has refused to stand behind his service. We hired them to pack a shipping pod for a cross country move. Everything seemed OK when they loaded it, but we realized how bad a job they had done once our pod was delivered.

It turns out they had stacked heavier boxes up high, unevenly distributed the contents and improperly secured the professional ratchet straps we provided to hold things in place (they had to Google how to use them because of their inexperience).

As soon as we opened the cube at our new apartment, we saw that boxes had toppled everywhere from the upper levels, causing several items to be crushed or broken (including our TV, the most valuable item in our container). The movers who helped us unload the pod said they'd never seen a cube packed so badly.

We reached out to the owner to see if he'd offer some assistance to help replace any of the items that were destroyed because of his team's negligence, but he gave us the run around for weeks, refused to answer several calls/emails/texts, and ultimately offered me $24 to replace our $600 TV.

I'd recommend anyone considering hiring We Haul Movers to stay away.
