I received an email from Kathy Smart on the morning of June 4, claiming interest in my job applications.

"Good news, you're the lead candidate for the recruiter position in our Orlando office. However, several financial services companies are interested in you as well. By law, I have to make you aware of all your employment options! Can you select the job(s) that interests you the most?  I will give you a call afterwards. Thanks (recipient's name)...talk to you in a few!

The job selection link went to an error page and had no information.

After receiving this email I have recieved two emails, later within the same day of June 4, from a differnet company about a job offer that I have no record of applying for directly, but vaguely reminiscient of actual applications I had recently viewed. They claimed I would be contacted by phone and that did not occur. I am checking to see if the company is a subset of an actual application I completed or an unfortunate spam distraction. The fact that there was a time limit to sign the job offer reminds me of mystery shopping scams, but I'm waiting for feedback from the contact on the two later emails before posting those as well. There was not an established connection between the two, where one recommends or supports the other, except that they both mentioned that they are interested in me for work in an office position.
