Dear Rip-Off Report,

Wealth Systems, Inc., Web Broker Program, The E-Commerce Network are all one big rip-off scam.

I resisted for a time, but they are clever salesmen and they knew I was interested so on January 6, 2005, they dropped their prices and said I could have the website with e-books, Amazon.com, and Overstock.com for $200. I received several phone calls from Sean Kelly of E-Commerce Network but didn't like the hard sell approach he used. Finally he called about two weeks ago and told me he was going to recommend to Wealth Systems, Inc. that they pull my website because I was just letting it sit there. I said he couldn't do that because I had paid for it, then he reasssured me that he wouldn't risk his job by not following through with the promises to work hard to have my website submitted to the search engines and resubmitted over and over for two years and that they would guarantee me thousands of qualified buyer hits to the website and that he personally would work very hard for me because repeat advertising business was how he made his money. STILL, I resisted but he sunk the hook and said he would give me the $2000 guaranteed package plus the "Platinum Upgrade" for $1000. That day was January 27, 2005. I faxed the required signed papers to what he called "Web Broker" and assured me that all of the links on my Wealth Systems website would work. I called the Web Broker telephone number 1-888-337-9920 and the girl who answered also assured me that the website links would work. They do not work and when I call all the numbers I have, either the mail boxes are full or I leave a message which is never returned.

I was told the same things Timothy of Fort Worth, Texas, was and I quote:

"They say you can make money three ways within a few weeks.
1) Every time someone signs up under you.
2) When someone buys an e-book from your own e-bookstore
3) Make 17% commission off profits from Fortune 500 weblinks"

Luckily, I have only invested $1,209.00 and not $10,000.00 as Timothy did.

Names I can add to the list are:
Anthony Austin
Sean Kelly or Shawn Kelley

WHAT SCARES ME MOST WAS THAT I SIGNED THE PAPERS AND GAVE THEM MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER because they said they needed it in order for Amazon.com and LinkShare Network and Web Broker Program to be able to pay my commission checks.

Amazon.com should be notified that this rip-off is using its name on a so-called contract.

I would be willing to help Timothy of Fort Worth, Texas in his efforts to pursue legal action against these rip-off artists.

Good timing for me. THANK YOU TO RIP-OFF REPORT FOR THIS WEBSITE.

This was good timing for me, especially because Timothy of Fort Worth filed his Rip-off Report when he did. I was suspicious from the beginning, but I need another income and have to be at home as much as possible. I am a caregiver for my husband who has Parkinson's. Timothy put forth the facts very well and he believed these dishonest telemarketers or else he wouldn't have spent so much money. The rebuttal from Wealth Systems confirmed everything I suspected about the way these people do business. The responder said "The current receiver likes to flex and he is doing so once again...". How many times has Wealth Systems been shut down "temporarily" by the Federal Trade Commission? How many times have the "defendants" had to appear in court? I do not wish to be associated with such people. The responder says the company should be operating again soon....DO NOT DO ANYTHING WITH MY ACCOUNT, DO NOT USE MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER, DO NOT USE MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER. To do so would be a fedral offense as you so well know now with the Federal Trade Commission on your tail....AGAIN!

Thank you very much for the information. I am fortunate that I have not been billed yet for the $1,009.00 and I have filed a dispute over that amount with American Express. The information about the current FTC receiver flexing once again will help my case immensely.

I am sorry for any other person who has been ripped off by Wealth System's telemarketers. How many other retired people living on a small, fixed income have been promised so much "help"? We are told,- if you don't have the money, just use your credit card. They don't care if we have to pay 21% interest on the credit card. I am so stupid to have been taken in by smooth talking salesmen who said they wouldn't risk their jobs or the security of their families by not telling the truth.

THANK YOU TO RIP-OFF REPORT FOR THIS WEBSITE. I WILL GLADLY GIVE A DONATION TO HELP YOUR EFFORTS TO KEEP OTHERS FROM BEING SCAMMED.

Our office was taken over by the FTC on the 3rd of the month, that is why you are getting full mail box's and no response. The current receiver likes to flex and he is doing so once again by shutting the business down temporarily. The defendants were supposed to appear in court today but it has been postponed to Thursday. The offices will be open in the near future once this is all settled.
