I detect a stench at Web-Detective.com

Approximately 3 weeks ago, I signed up, and paid via VISA, for 6 months usage of Web-Detective.com's investigator-like search feature. Supposedly I'd be able to track some long-lost relations and/or acquaintances for a $25.00 per 6 month fee. I got access to the site and used it 1 time. We had some hardware problems and our computer crashed. Once we recovered, we found that the URL info that we'd stored on the system was gone. No problem, right? Wrong! I emailed the address on their site which was given for this purpose several times asking for instructions on how to regain our access. My boyfriend emailed every day. TO THIS DAY WE HAVE YET TO RECEIVE A REPLY.
Guess what, Web-Detective...that was a VISA card. You'll get yours when we get ours. It appears that another business has gotten the impression that they are entitled to my money for absolutely nothing and/or shoddy workmanship or slipshod performance. I HAVE HAD ENOUGH! IT IS WAR ON crooked, incompetent, or lazy vendors. And it won't be pretty. COME ON, EVERYBODY! FIGHT BACK. WE'RE THE CONSUMERS HERE. IT'S OUR MONEY! EVEN IF THEY STEAL IT, WE CAN STILL MAKE IT COST THEM MORE THAN THEY SNAKED FROM US. IT'S THE ONLY WAY TO STOP THIS!
