I signed up with Web Marketing Experts (webmarketingexperts.com.au) hoping that they would increase the rankings of my site and in turn boost sales using their SEO "expertise". Instead I received the worst service from a company that I've ever gotten in my life. Firstly they claim that they are "the best SEO company in Australia ... with over 35 years of experience" which is beyond a joke. "Experts" should be changed to "con artists" or "criminals" because this is exactly what they are. These people are scammers and caused immense damage to both my site and reputation which I am now spending thousands of dollars on to repair. These people are criminals and should be locked up.

Web Marketing Experts claim, "At Web Marketing Experts, we are so confident in the SEO services of our team of SEO experts that we guarantee that our SEO services can put your website on page one of all major search engines." Are you kidding me? My sales dropped by around 50% after signing up with these clowns and after an in-depth analysis of my site by another SEO company I discovered that my site wasn't even ranked by Google at all! These people posted spam backlinks to my site and in turn my site got heavily penalized for it. They also created pages on my site without my permission which contained irrelevant links to other sites and also content that sounded like it was written by a kindergartner. On top of that, they made numerous spelling mistakes, had bad grammar, and posted lies on my site about my product. How on earth these people are still in business is beyond me, really!

They also claim that they "never make excuses when it comes to our SEO services" which is another lie. They didn't even start working on my site until around 3 months after signing up with them and never provided me of an outline of work that they had completed. All I received were ranking reports and most of my keywords which they were supposed to optimize actually dropped in rankings. Excuses was all I heard and now I know why this company has such a high employee turnover rate. They don't answer your emails and I had to resend a few THREE times before I got any sort of response. Scam, scam, SCAM!

They say, "At Web Marketing Experts, we are an SEO company staffed by the best SEO experts in field" ... more lies. My account was passed along to three different people after signing up with them and all of them were unprofessional. My webhost contacted me and notified me that malicious content had been uploaded to my site through my FTP server by Web Marketing Experts and I have complete records and proof of that. These morons uploaded a virus to my site which is ILLEGAL and this damaged my site and completely ruined the affiliate software that I had installed on there. I am now paying thousands to have this fixed and have my site redeveloped. The uploaded virus caused the speed of the site to slow down and messed up the pages which resulted in the rankings of my site to drop. Do these idiots not know that it is a federal offence to hack a site and interfere with somebody's business? I asked them about this and they literally laughed and said that they did not do it, even though I have proof that they did. My webhost tracks all activity on my dedicated server and where it comes from and the virus came from Web Marketing Expert's IP in Melbourne, Australia. They were also the only people who had FTP access to my site besides myself and obviously I wasn't the one who uploaded the virus.

If you go to webmarketingexperts.com.au you will see that they deal with a few big clients like MTV and Virgin and also have a few awards. I seriously cannot see how this is possible. Either this is a load of rubbish or maybe these big companies are just ignorant of Web Marketing Experts' illegal business practices. It is very hard to believe that well known companies such as these would hire a company as illiterate as Web Marketing Experts and risk ruining their business reputation.

WARNING: Do not, under any circumstances, risk ruining your business and reputation by hiring Web Marketing Experts. You will save yourself thousands by researching a little more and finding cheaper alternatives, without locking yourself into a fraudulent contract. I had to ask them repeatedly to end my contract and stop charging my credit card and they kept on calling me and asking me what they could do to keep me on. I said, "NOTHING!" and they still charged my card one more time before finally getting a clue! SCAMMERS!! It got to the point where they became so annoying that I didn't even pick up the phone when they called and when they then emailed me and asked to talk to me, I told them that I didn't want to and to just cancel my account. There was nothing to talk about!

One more thing ... I posted a review about Web Marketing Experts on truelocal.com.au and the owner contacted the site to have my review removed. What kind of unethical people run this site and censor you for speaking the truth? TrueLocal.com.au is just another partner in crime that hides the truth from unsuspecting consumers like us. So much for freedom of speech. These people don't care about the consumer and are only concerned about what puts more money in their pockets. They emailed me and asked me to send them documentation to verify my claims and I emailed them my phone number. Instead of calling me to discuss the issue they sent me another email and said that they had come to a decision (without me) and that "the moderation teams decision is final and once a decision is made no further correspondence will be entered into.
