Near the end of April 2011, I was contacted by Cher DeLuccia about a service to get my business on Google maps, as if it was only available to a small number of similar businesses per area and for a limited time and that using their service is the way one can be registered on Google maps and get a secondary location, such as my home office within a 50 mile radius, listed as well without the physical address being listed, just a point on the map with my phone number. I was told that the fee was a one time charge of $125.00 (which I now find out Google offers for free). I figured for a one time fee and with them doing all the work, setting it up, getting the key word listed in all, I'd go ahead and do it.

I got a card in the mail from Google and now I have another gmail account?! It doesn't seem to work with the given pin for me to finish the process, I figured I'd try later, I had other commitments, just a bit busy. So I'm still not listed on the map.

In May I received my April credit card statement and was charged by WebXposure the $125.00. (OK, I thought Cher was from Google, that was the way she represented herself?!?!)

Then my June credit card statement arrives and two more charges from this WebXposure company for $25.00 each. Now I am not going to try to set-up this account with my pin, this company is a scam!!! And now I just read from someone else his pin didn't work either, definitely a ripoff!!!!!

In June emailed Cher and got no response and I filed a dispute with my credit card company. I asked my credit card company if I needed to call the number associated with the charges and was told no. The credit card company does refunds the two extra charges. I figured they would put a halt to the next charge and get them to stop for me.

Well, now I have my July statement, same thing, another unauthorized $25.00 fee and one will be posting tomorrow for August that I will need to call my credit card company back again to dispute. Now I am told to call the number, so I called 503-482-9329, but all I got was voicemail so I left a message and I also email Cher DeLuccia again.

WebXposure is a fraudulent company that will post unauthorized revolving charges to your account if you give them a credit card number. The pin number they give you will not work and you will not be able to place yourself on the map through the account they set-up. DO NOT do business with these people.

Google Maps is a FREE service.
