WeCANmodify.com is a loan modification processing company that negotiates new terms for homeowners seeking mortgage crises relief. On it's website, WeCanModify makes this claim:
"WeCanModify prescreens and approves only the most effective, professional, and reputable Loan Negotiating Partners". See their 'Services' pages.
This is not true. I used to work at one of their 'partner' companies until May of 2009, and NONE of the negotiators were EVER prescreened by WeCanModify, except one ... the owner of the company. The name of this backend company is MEC Enterprises, LLC, dba H4H Processing Center, Orange, CA. We handled well over 100 files for WeCanModify.
At H4H, my biggest complaint against the company was that they insist on leaving consumer files out ... all over the desks in the hallway. H4H Processing is located inside an executive suite that houses several other companies ... a cushy hub for Identity Theft.
Consumer files are left out in the open every night and even over weekends ... unmonitored and unsecured. Each file contains highly sensitive consumer information such as social security numbers and credit card numbers, etc. and is available for anyone to come and steal the cleaning crew, competitors, desperados, anyone. I brought this to the attention of H4H's owner, Maria Chacon, many times. Maria Chacon is one of WeCanModify's top negotiators. Her response was to roll her eyes and walk away.
"WeCanmodify prescreens and approves only the most effective, professional, and reputable Loan Negotiating Partners".
Another time, I discovered that one of the processors who worked with us for over 2 months, never once checked her messages. There were 14 in total, ranging from anxious homeowners and brokers calling in with questions. I asked her why she hadn't retrieved them, and she said Maria Chacon never showed her how to do it. Same thing happened to me during my first 2 months. Stand by, it gets better ...
So I asked the owner, Maria Chacon, why she never showed this processor how to retrieve messages, and she said, "Oh well, why didn't you!" This kind of reckless sloppiness was run amuck at our company and I complained about it constantly. Needless to say, I ended up leaving that day on May 7, 2009.
On the morning of May 8th I went into H4H's office a final time to pick up my personal belongings. While waiting at the elevator, Maria Chacon stepped up to me and looked at the stuff in my arms. Then she actually started tearing and rifling through my stuff saying, "What's this? Are you stealing from me? Are you stealing from me?"
So I told her to get her hands off me. That's all she wrote folks. Maria Chacon pushed me against the wall and tried to punch me in the face 4 or 5 times. When the elevator came she actually "obstructed" my path from getting into it, the door closed and I was TRAPPED on the 12th floor.
Maria Chacon then tried to knock me to the floor, and slammed me into the wall for over 5 minutes. Several people stepped into the hallway and saw me shouting "Stop, stop!" ... so no use trying to deny it. The incident is now the subject of a police report that I filed that same day. Maria Chacon will soon be interviewed by detectives for Assault & Battery, which is a felony, and the people who saw it will have to testify in court. The only jab I got in was a racial slur. (Didn't mean it, it was just for effect.)
By the way, if someone wants to leave ... and you don't let them ... that's a whole other charge. Give you 3 guesses.
When the 2nd elevator finally came, I stepped in and Maria Chacon smacked me on the back of the head. One for the road I guess.
"WeCanmodify prescreens and approves only the most effective, professional, and reputable Loan Negotiating Partners".
This now brings us full circle back to WeCanModify ... the folks who are gonna' send your file over to Maria Chacon ... The Gangsta Negotiata ... where your files will be left out for identity thieves to gobble up. "Oh well."
There's an account executive over at WeCanModify, named Sam (Sam Aeal - or something like that). He would call us several times a day and FORCE US to call ... and re-call ... homeowners for no reason whatsoever ... people that we had just called that morning, or 3 days ago, or yesterday.
We would protest that they were already fully updated on their loan mods and there was nothing new to tell them at this juncture. We'd ask, "Well, what do you want us to tell them?" And he'd say, "Tell them anything, I just want them to hear your voice."
One time he forced me to call a homeowner that I had spoken to just that morning! She was very upset when I called. I had woken her up in the middle of the day ... she works nights.
And now for the cream puff ... While working on WeCanModify files, we routinely forged homeowner signatures on everything ... from authorizations, to financial worksheets, to rental agreements, and more. Our negotiators also pretended to be The Homeowner while talking on the phone with lenders.
"WeCanmodify prescreens and approves only the most effective, professional, and reputable Loan Negotiating Partners".
Not a big deal in the mortgage industry, until the Federal Trade Commission and California Department of Real Estate find out ... first thing tomorrow, right after I have my coffee.
Please be advised that when you sign up with WeCanModify, your file may end up with Maria Chacon ... the Gangsta Negotiata ... where all your confidentials go up for grabs ... plus, you might get smacked in the head.
Can You Say felony?

Recommendation for Maria Chacon
AUTHOR: Brian - ()

I would like to whole-heartly commend Ms. Chacon for her exceptional Loan Modification Service that she provided me over the last 90 days ending with a very positive outcome last week. Having deal in the business world for the last 30+ years, both large and small, I am very aware of when certain individuals just seem to have a special talent for their work; Ms. Chacon does. From her dealings with her client, the home owner, to the lenders, both at an executive level and those actually working on the loans, Ms.Chacon provide an expertise that is unmatched in not only her integrity but, in the results produced. I can not, honestly, understand why a prior employee would have anything to say otherwise unless they had their own agenda that did not include working extra hard to achieve the results that Ms.Chacon strives for. It is a shame that I would have to defend Ms. Chacon's business capabilities but, after seeing what she did for me, it is my pleasure. She is that good.

MEC Enterprises, LLC is a Real Estate Services Company that has provided services for many homeowners throughout the state of CA. It's very disturbing to me that a bitter FORMER employee that only worked for MEC Enterprises, LLC for 3 months can make up such a disturbing story. I realize that many people can interpret things in many different ways, but WOW this is really out there. I pride myself in being a fair person and I can truly say that my conscious is clear and I am very happy with the way we operate our business. We are one of the VERY few companies that were NOT shut down by the Department Of Real Estate for conducting illegal activities or scamming homeowners. Despite, the former emplyee attempt to have me shut down by the Police Department and Department Of Real Estate by feeding them with lies. I WELCOMED the investigations because I had NOTHING to hide. In fact, I was proud to show PROOF of how many clients we have helped. Also, I would like to add that that BOTH investigations were closed without merit. I do not have any disciplinary actions against my license (have been licensed since 2004) nor have I EVER been arrested. I know that my passion is to help others in many ways. Providing Real Estate Services is one of the platforms that I use to do what I enjoy. I will continue to not let any negative energy stand in my way. I hope that this person finds some peace and happiness in there life.
