WEDGEWOOD COMMUNITY FUND II INVESTMENT GROUP BUYS HOUSE AT FORECLOSURE SALE THEN REFUSES TO TURN ON THE UTLITIES FOR THE EXISTING TENANTS REDONDO BEACH California

The home where we live was bought at a foreclosure sale by WEDGEWOOD COMMUNITY FUND II. First they served us a three day notice saying who they were. We already knew. We sent them our rental contract. THen they sued us to get us out. THe former owner cut off the utilities. In California we have a 90 day grace period to move out as tenants.  WEGEWOOD  will not connect the utilities. It has been over ten days since the power was shut off. WE have been calling them, e mailing their lawyers per their instruction. we even went to court and we are going   back again tomorrow.  Today the city came and shut off the water. We are telling them as the new owners it is their obligation to keep the utilities on. THey will not do it.  OUr case we sued them on is for statutory damages as under California law the landlord cannot cut off utilities and the penalty is up to $100 per day. THey are just keeping their damages accumulating but that case wont come to trial for at least a year. They are leaving us with no power and no water.  What kind if investers are these people???? WHen we call them, they say "they are reviewing teh contract. Thats been eight days, the contract is one page. They hung up on us today and said we have to talk to their lawyers. We do not. WE called the number they put in the three day change of ownership paper and they wont talk to us. They wont turn on the utilities....
