I had the misfortune of buying into two of Weidenhammer's technical solutions, their traditional programming services and their school software, Alio.

First, the consultants I received to develop a simple .Net application were overpriced and under educated in the latest technologies.  Half my investment was spent on them ramping-up on areas of technology they should already be familiar with.  I basically paid for them to learn a technology for which they were already supposed to be familiar with.  When I requested a second consultant to take the place of the first, I was met with great resistance and a denial that there was a problem.  The groups manager, Deb Longenacre actually took a combative stance which I found to be extremely unprofessional.  But I was under the gun, down the road and hoping to get past this ordeal.  When the second consultant arrived he was unkempt, unprofessional, and not engaging.  He picked up where the last one last off and started the learning process all over again.  At $100 hour one should expect more from a professional services company that call themselves experts.

The other side of their business is a K-12 software solution called Alio.  I will not get into specifics but the person in our organization who recommended this software has since been fired.  We all knew it was Weidenhammer's fault but the fact that this person recommended Weidenhammer Systems and, specifically, Alio was grounds enough for termination.  The software is not complete.  It has bugs and fixes that kept us off line for months.  Their customer service department was unresponsive and calls to John P. Weidenhammer himself went unanswered.  Stay away from this Reading firm at all costs!

Meritless Attempt to Smear Our Company

AUTHOR: John P. Weidenhammer - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, October 08, 2009

The situation reported here by Don is completely untrue.  It represents an attempt by someone to smear Weidenhammer in a public way by presenting false and misleading information.

There is not a single situation, not one, where a Weidenhammer client has purchased software development services for a .Net application and also purchase our alio software.  Don is making this up to injure our reputation.

Unfortunately, the Internet provides a forum for people like Don to hide behind a false identity and spread vicious and false accusations.  We urge you to disregard this false and misleading posting.
