I have been a Bank customer of wells fargo for over 30 years. In the last two months my debit card has been continually declined without a reasonable explanation. I have made over one dozen attempts talking with upper management to address and resolve the issue. With no action or attempt to make this right. I have asked that the harassment stop but it has not.
My account is in constant chaos, because of the continual declines. I have amples funds available, i am being told by management, my card is declined because they are concerned with fraud. I have never experienced fraud with my debit card in over thrity years. All my purchases online were under 100.00, one purchase was for 9.95 and it was decline. I have made two complaints to the finance protection agency without a positive result.
The bank just apologizes, but continues their harassing behavior. I talked repeadedly to upper management without a positive resolution. I am fed up. I can't purchase what I want with my money without calling the bank to free the funds. Yhis unacceptable behavior. I have threatened to file a law suit in court and it does not phase them. They make no attempt to stop it.
My friends who bank with wells fargo do not experience this form of abuse and harassment. They do not have to call the bank continually to allow purchases to process on their debit card. I don't need this harassing behavior in my life and do not deserve it. No one deserves this form of harassment. I am closing account and i am making this complaint to warn other peolpe of the callous, and disrespectful, and harassing behavior i have experienced from wells fargo. I am certain i am not the only customer dealing with this issue.

There is something in your pattern of either purchases or merchants that is raising some red flags to them. Perhaps those vendors you are shopping at have a very high percentage of fraudlent charges or complaints. Perhaps you aren't actually shopping at the site you think. Perhaps you actually aren't entering in the information correct when trying to order. Perhaps 100 other reasons.
But in the end there isn't any harassement, and quite frankly trying to figure out how a declined transaction puts your account into chaos. But one does have to ask, if you are having this much trouble with WF why did it take you this long to move?
