Wellington Appliance Repair LEG appliance services scammed by owner of company west palm beach Florida

Called for a repair on a whirlpool washer. Wellington appliance repair came up on a search. My husband called and Eli said he could come out that day. Eli did show up he looked at a few things said he needed to order a CCU. He said the part would be in by Tues or Wed this was a friday. He emailed an invoice to me. He charged me $280.00 for the service call and half the cost of the part. Tues & Weds came an went. I called Eli several times no answer. One of the times the line call forwarded to his wife. She said she would check on the part and call me back. She did stating the part will not arrive until next Monday because it was back ordered. So that would have been 10 days to get the part.

I decided to google the part myself. I found several parts distributors with the part in stock and same day shipping. Monday came no part. My husband called Eli. Eli stated the part will be here Wednesay and that he would be at my house 9:00 Thursday. 9:00am came and went. Called Eli repeatedly, no answer. I stated texted him. no reply.

Next day I text him again. I stated I wanted a refund. he said OK. Were now two weeks into this. Another day goes by I use someone elses cell phone to call him. His wife picks up I tell her I'm waiting on my refund. She states Eli is processing refunds today and she will have him call me. 

Here I am three weeks later. No call from Eli or his wife. I've called and texted numerous times. No answer. Eli and his wife will pick up if they don't recognize the # thinking it's new business or actually someone else they can rip off. Don't do business with this guy!
