This company advertised a "free trial" on their lip gloss product using a rebate offer. However, once I sent in my credit card information, I did not get the rebate but instead got charged the full cost of $50.00 plus $4.85 for shipping - $50 for a lip gloss that could be purchased for less than $5 almost anywhere! The company boasted that it was 100% guaranteed to be the best lip plumper ever used or return within 30 days to get a full refund. I did not try to return the product because I was expecting to get the rebate. The product has absolutely no affect on plumping the lips.

The rebate never came through, but an additional charge of $99.99 and three more tubes of lip gloss came in the mail 90 days later. I emailed the company but was told that I had "automatically" signed up for the VIP program and that it was clearly explained on the web site, which it was not. They said I should cancel the VIP account on their website, but of course, I got an error message when I tried that. I have not tried yet to get my $99.99 back from them, but after the research that I've done so far, do not have high expectations that I will get it back.

Other victims of this ripoff have said that the only way they have been able to stop the charges to their credit card every 90 days is to close their credit card account. I hope it doesn't come to that for me, but I am not very hopeful that this issue will be resolved in a friendly manner. If anyone has been successful getting this company to stop the fraudulent charges and refund their money, I would like to know how you did it. Thanks.
