To make a long story short. these ppl are crooks. I purchased a car from them that they rigged up. i took the car to a mechanic to do a basic inspection and the car appeared to be fine. the car is a 2003 Honda Accord. it had 136,000 mi on the day of purchase. usually for a honda you would think that is fine and the car should run pretty good. the same day i signed the paper work an headed home, the engine light popped on, the oil light began blinking and the car started sputtering. I called Wendell auto to informed them of this problem and they told me they couldn't look at it because the engine light was on. after having someone look at the car it didn't have a drop of oil in it and there was a sticker in the car stating that the next oil change was at 139,000. I went on and had the oil changed anyway thinking that would solve the problem.i began checking the oil regularly and ended up putting a qt of oil in that car every other day. after  2 weeks of driving the car, it began doing the same thing. i checked the oil on the car and it was very low and burned black. i contacted wendell auto a second time and they stated they couldn't get the car looked at until another 2 weeks. i took it to them anyway that next day and they told me if anyting was wrong with it i would have to pay for it. Here it is week 5 of having this car. the engine is gone in the car, and they aren't willing to work with me in any shape or form. I don't think its fair that they can take your hard earned money as a down payment and not help you get into another or or even offer to fix it free of charge knowing i havent had the car long at all. i would never tell anyone to get a car from these ppl. for one, their prices are extremely too high, and so are the mi on them. i know sometimes you have no choice except to go to a buy here pay here. but please don't go to these ppl. there are good buy here pay here dealers out there, but wendell auto brokers is not one. take my advice and go the other way!!!

spoke too soon

Well Folks....I guess i spoke too soon about Wendell Auto Brokers. Joy Trejo, the Manager of the on site finance company contacted me on Tuesday April 5, 2011 informing me that they were willing to replace my vehicle. all i had to do was pay the tax tag and title on the car. All though i felt that that was still unfair, i agreed to the arrangement. I went to the dealership on Saturday April 9 , 2011 to speak with Joy about the arrangement we made on Tuesday and to pick out the replacement car. Hardly any of the cars where with in the same price range as the Honda I had purchased. I went back into the office to inform Joy that none of the vehicles were in that price range, which she already knew when she sent me on the goose chase. so she picked out about 4 cars that she said would be with in the same price. one car that i went out to look at was a 2005 cobalt with right at 95,000 mi on it. the Kelly blue book value is only 7,775 and they have it to sale for 12,500 can we say get over! then to top that off. they gave me a quote that didn't even include my down-payment for the Honda which they stated would be. they also had the payment for the cobalt at 440 per month for 2 years at a 10% interest rate. that is absurd! not to mention that the car was full of cigarette burns. Also Joy made the statement to me that i would also have to make a payment on the Honda before i can get another car. So basically these people have taken my down payment, a full months payment on a car that didn't work to start with and are now asking for an additional fee totaling to be right at $2,364. All they want to do is get people's hard earned money by over charging for there vehicles knowing they don't function well because you to have to give them more money to repair the vehicle and pay them payments at the same time. Wendell Auto Brokers, you will never have to worry about doing business with me again!
