Wendys Fast Food Restaurant i worked for wendys 2yrs 8 months, i was never disciplined one day in april 2008, i was fired because someone lied and said i sold weed "in my wendys uniform" and i was also a felon dated back to the palm bay, Florida

i began working for wendys in aug.2005 thru april2008. i was very rarely late nor missed a days work. a few weeks before being fired my manager went over my job preformance and everything was fine, she had not one complaint about my work. someone(my enemy of my girlfriends) called the corrporate office of wendys and informed them that i was conviced of a third degree felony back in 2003, which i got a fine and probation, the only mistake i made i lied on my application. the lier then went on to tell corrporate that "i sold his son, whom he dosent even have a child, that i sold his son marijuania, in my wendys uniform" which is an outright lie. so on april11, 2008 after my shift was over, my manager and the head boss from the corporate office sat me down at one of the tables and told me i was fired, because they got a report, i sold a mans som weed. thats an utter lie. yes i did lie and say i never was convicted of a felony, but wendys hires felons before i was hired and to this day, so the only thing i did wrong was i lie, but after 2 yrs 8 months did they really have to fire me.. i believe they wanted to get rid of me in the first place because im on social security disability, because i had brain damage when i was a teenager and im not the fastest or the smartest worker. but i got my job done,. i was literally thrown under the bus because the man that made that phone call to corporate couldnt hurt my girlfriend anymore so the next best thing for him to do was to get me fired. my job was my life and since i lost my job ive never been the same, something i loved to do, made me less of a person , and to this day im still not over it. it was my first real job i ever had and im 34 yrs old. he broke my spirit and i will never forget how much i loved getting ready for work and doing my job. that man broke me, spiritually, mentally, and took my self esteem. i loved my job and everyon i worked with. im broken. no thanks to someone so evil.
