The level of INCOMPETENCE and LAZINESS at this location amazes me.  Just one more incident last night, and nobody to talk to. No wonder they no longer put the phone# on the reciept! The phone# listed in the phone book is no good, it just goes to a fax tone.  This forces a person to drive back to the store at a time and money cost that is more than the cost of the wrong order. Customer loses and Wendy's just doesn't care.  I'm done with that location. Idiots.

I went through the drive thru last night after a long hard day at work. Made my order clearly. Got up to the window and "Tricia" handed me my order. Since there were several people behind me and me trying to be considerate of them, I did not dig through my entire bag to check every item. Part of my order was the sour cream and chives baked potato. I clearly asked "Tricia" if I got the sour cream and butter, to which she replied, "Yeah..It's in the bag".  Well, she ASSUMED it was in the bag. It wasn't. So my meal was ruined. I could either eat my dry baked potato, or package it up and drive back to the store and go inside and look for some teenage manager.  The cost of the trip back, and my tiome would just create a larger loss for me, especially after my 12 hour work day.  WHAT is so hard about giving someone a COMPLETE and PROPER order??  It is NOT rocket science. A monkey should be able to do that job.  I WILL GO BACK, and I will sit at the drive thru window, open my bag, and inspect EVERY ITEM while still at the window, and I suggest everyone else do the same.

You missed the point..

AUTHOR: Ronny g - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, November 10, 2010

The point was that just like yourself I only have one fast food place that is "convenient" for me to go to..and like yourself, I am not happy with the place. I get sick from the food, you claim incompetence.

And like yourself, I have the choice not to go there.

The last place I lived had 2 resturants that were "convenient", a Mcdonalds, and a BK. The BK always got the order wrong, the McDonalds served cold burgers.

So in that case..both had issues that I was not happy about..and I had the choice not to go to either.

I actually left a report here about a McDonalds serving me cold food. I stated I will not go back..the only reason I even went in was to use the bathroom, decided to patronize them and got stuck in traffic with a bag of smelly inedible cold burgers. So I don't eat there again. I deal with the inconvenience of avoiding all these crappy places that do not make me happy.

Response to Ronny G, you are missing the point and getting off topic

AUTHOR: Steve - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, November 10, 2010

Ronny G, you are missing the point here. My original post was to address the laziness an incompetence of the Wendy's staff, and to share my bad experience.

I don't need to get lectured to on eating fast food or told that I should shop and prepare my own meals, etc. I'm 47 years old. I know that. But it's not the point here.

If you would take time to read and comprehend the original post, I clearly stated I made the CHOICE to stop at Wendy's after a hard 12 hour day at work.

I also stated in a follow up that the ONLY reason I stop there is CONVENIENCE as it is the closest fast food option to where I live, and is the ONLY option that is on my route home from work.

This thread addresses the ongoing incomplete/wrong order problem at this location.

That's it. Please stay on point here.

The only convenient fast food resturant near me..

AUTHOR: Ronny g - (USA)

...is KFC..aka "Kentucky Fried Chipmunks". I know if I eat there..I will suffer from dysentery (at the very least) for 24 hours.

So..I have a choice. Either continue to go there and get sick..or be inconvenienced if I wish to eat fast food...and go elsewhere.

That is one of the benefits of living in the good ol' US and A. We have an abundance of places to purchase food. Your best bet is to shop at a market..and prepare it yourself. At the very least..you know the temperature and time you are cooking it, and where your hands have been.

They must be doing something right.

If you can jerk your customers around and they keep coming back for more, why change?   Fast food customers are like crack addicts.

The ONLY reason I go there is the location. That's it.

AUTHOR: Steve - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, November 09, 2010

The ONLY reason that I go there is that it is the ONLY fast food restaurant that is close to my home, AND "on the way" home from work.

It is all about CONVENIENCE. But that "convenience' is lost if a customer can't get an accurate order, and has to drive back to the location and park and go inside and deal with some wet behind the ears manager. That was my point.

Almost all of the other fast food restaurants in this area have closed down.

The choices for convenient, decent quality fast food are very thin here.

This location ONLY gets most of it's business as people do not have other choices here in this area.

I will go back one more time, and the next time my order is screwed up,  I  will duct tape the item to a cinder block and toss it through the front window in a drive by.

Satisfaction make the world go'round!

Priceless.

The power of the consumer...

AUTHOR: Edgeman - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, November 09, 2010

If a business continually fails to meet your expectations then going somewhere else is certainly the best course of action. In fact, you wrote that you were done with that location.

However, you also wrote that you will go back and inspect every item before leaving. That is also a valid choice and should take no longer than fifteen or twenty seconds. Certainly a better alternative than driving back to the restaurant later though if you truly believe the employees are "idiots" I would wonder why you would even want to go back.

As a consumer you have the power of choosing who you want to give your money to. Use that power.
