Wenger Truck Lines Low miles equal low pay Davenport Iowa

Recruiters lie and tell you what you want to here.  I was hired for long haul otr and was told I would get 3000 miles a week, what I got was 300 mile trips and 1600 miles a week on average. Driiver manager was ignorant of logs and laws that effect them, had me taking 10 hr break on off ramps and cuztomers lots. Trucks are newer but not maintained, trailers are in dire need of replacement.  Once they figured out I was good at short runs thats all I got.. I spoke to president and safety several times ans was told they would work on it. Nothing changed!  They have such a  bad score they are nos removing all prepass equipment from their trucks so scales wont know its a wenger truck coming. This is truly a company that does not care about the safety or happiness of their drivers. Run dont walk the other way there are too many good companies out there you do not want to work here unless you enjoy bad inspections, lies low pay, unsafe conditions and no respect.
