WePay.com AKA WePay Deceptive business practices. Don't use these guys! Palo ALto California

The credit card processor WePay.com is a total scam. They clearly advertise that they only charge 2.9% plus 30 cents per transaction.
Based on that information, I signed up with them.
My first client paid me $1,000. As wepay.com advertise, the funds would be wired to my account the next business day

After one week, they finally wire me $470.70 to my account.
I immediately contact them to find out where the other half is and I get a reply the next day saying that the source of my business (webdevelopment and placing) was very risky and that they would hold on to the second half for another 2 weeks before wiring it.

Not only did they charge me 5.9% plus 30 cents for each wire, I have also incurred various overdraft fees of $35 each in my account with my bank as I was counting on the availabiltiy of my funds.

All in all, the $1000 charge to my client cost me over $120 in fees!

Now I suggest you use square.com to whom I have switched and get exactly what they advertise.

Not some shady scam like wepay!
